Nadia and Rami were married at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London. There was a civil ceremony at the hotel and then a party!
These guys loved to dance and when they weren’t dancing, then they were being entertained by live bands and musicians. It was great to get in amongst it and I hope these images really tell the story …

For those of you who don’t know, the guy in this photograph is Dave Grohl. Dave is the founder and lead singer in The Foo Fighters. He was also the drummer in Nirvana before that. For me, the parallels between making music the Dave Grohl way and quality photojournalism are clear!

Here is the text from a card we received from Maurice and Jules. I shot their wedding last year at The West London Synagogue and then at The Landmark Hotel in London.
I love my clients!
“David,
We just wanted to say a quick thank you for everything you have done to help make the last 12 months – and in particular the wedding – so special.
The comments from people who’ve seen the pre-wedding shoot, and of course, the card, have been hugely complimentary – people have never seen anything like it.
Please pass our thanks onto Chrissie as well, and we can’t wait to see the final results!
All our love and best wishes for the future,
Maurice and Jules”

We just received this email from Susannah and Mark. I shot their wedding in London and the ceremony was at St Martin’s-in-the-Fields – a beautiful and imposing church on the corner of Trafalgar Square.
Their email brought it all flooding back!
Happy days!
“Dear David and Karen,
Mark and I arrived back to the UK from our round-the-world trip just before Christmas and there was a big brown paper package waiting for us. To our delight it was our Queensberry wedding album arrived safe and sound. We just wanted to let you know that we think it is wonderful – the design is really strong and the photos are exquisite. The album successfully portrays the stunning London architecture, especially the awe-inspiring interior of St Martin’s-in-the-Fields, and the mixture of colour and black and white images set off the black-tie event to perfection.
Thank you both for all the hard work you put in – it was definitely worth it! We have been showing it to family and friends over Christmas and everyone has been very impressed. After a year abroad in very poor developing countries it has been lovely to be reminded of our beautiful wedding day and we will treasure this album for the rest of our lives.
Hope you are both well and the photography business is buoyant!
Kind regards,
Susannah and Mark”

Lisa & Pan are getting married in London in April next year. Last week we spent some time together creating some really great images with autumnal London as the backdrop. Here they are and I hope you like them too.

I recently had a Facebook message from Debbie Young-Somers who is the Rabbi at the West London Synagogue where I have shot weddings a couple of times. I was touched by what she said and thought it might be nice to share it with you all!
“Just saw the photo video for sam and nick – so so gorgeous! Is it wrong to want to order prints from someone elses wedding? Great job – again!”

Here are some of my favourite images from Sam and Nick’s wedding in London. You may remember the recent shots from Julie and Maurice’s wedding? Nick and Sam were guests at Julie and Maurice’s wedding at The West London Synagogue and afterwards at London’s Landmark Hotel. Julie and Sam shared an amazing experience together when they both converted to the Jewish faith together. Having spoken to Julie about this a few times I can only imaging the determination and commitment needed! After the ceremony, all the guests were bused out of town to the party on London buses!
While writing this, I have had an email from Sam who has just seen the photographs. Here is a snippet from her email from a few moments ago … “Wonderful photos, thank you! And perfectly timed too as Nick is away from home tonight so I was feeling lonely, not anymore though! My face hurts from smiling. Superb!”

Last month I shot Clari and Kenneth’s wedding at Villa Pitiana in Tuscany, Italy. Villa Pitiana is near Florence and high in the Tuscan hills. Family and guests came from all over the world and the ceremony melded together Danish and Pilipino traditions. These traditions spilled over into the reception. Some were more formal that others but most of them at the reception seemed to develop their own sense of danger! Mike, Kenneth’s brother and best man, arranged for kegs of beer from Germany to shipped in as a surprise and one of these decided to fizz a little beer fountain as the guys opened it to start the dancing after the meal. (Note top self … do not leave open camera bag under fizzing keg of beer next time!) Another Danish tradition is the cutting of the groom’s socks so Ken was hoisted upside down and out came a sharp pair of scissors …
From the pizza party the night before to the small hours of the morning the next day I was really made to feel like one of the family. Thank you for that guys!

Julie and Maurice were married at the West London Synagogue and the ceremony was at London’s Landmark Hotel. I had been looking forward to this wedding for months. Aside from the fact that the couple are such fun I knew how much effort they had gone to. The lighting back at the Landmark Hotel really gave us something to work with photographically. I think that if I only ever shot jewish weddings I would be a happy man! The Israeli dancing is wild. Everywhere I looked something was going off! Thank you guys for making us feel so welcome! XX
(PS – If you would like to have a quick look at the engagement shoot we did for Julie and Maurice near their home in Camden, London then please click here).

Here are a few of my favourite images from Natasha and Mike’s wedding in Essex a couple of weeks ago. They are a very musical family and the evening was lively! Really, lively!
We shot until late and enjoyed a performance by Alexandra Burke. Happy days! Thanks for making us feel so welcome guys and enjoy the pictures …

Pretty killer stuff David yess!!!!
Thanks Daniel! This wedding was before Dallas (just so you know) …
Any news on Manchester?
Amazing work again Mr.Morgan. It baffles me how you have such consistent quality!
Hi Tom … thanks for the kind words. Great photojournalism is about consistently watching out for and looking to improve the little things in the frame. That’s one way of many.
I absolutely love the website, as for the photos – you have a gift. Really excellent work, totally impressed.
That makes me well up! You are so kind. Thank you!
